The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and well organized, educating clients on products, lighting trends and solution-based possibilities. They will lead our team of sales consultants making E.G. Penner the premiere name in Lighting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of a lighting showroom, ensuring smooth sales processes, maintaining a welcoming environment, and managing staff and inventory.
• Assisting customers in selecting the right lighting fixtures for their needs.
Assist in merchandising, customer service, and reporting on sales performance.
• Managing sales transactions by overseeing the sales process and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Working to achieve or exceed sales goals for the showroom.

• Supervise and support the Tools & Tool Rental team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with tool selection, rental procedures, and product inquiries.
• Manage tool rental inventory, ensuring equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and available for customers.
• Oversee rental transactions, including check-outs, returns, deposits, and damage assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Generate sales through personal contact with walk-in and telephone customers, repeat customers and sales leads.
• Qualify new business prospects and build an active, high potential prospect list.
• Maintain a high level of service to existing customers; managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service; and soliciting referrals from these customers, where possible.
