HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyperson – Residential & Commercial (ICI Wage Rates)

We are seeking a certified HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyperson to join our team. This position focuses on residential and commercial HVAC installations and is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and wants to be part of a reliable, professional crew. Key Responsibilities
• Install, fabricate, and service sheet metal ductwork for residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and Manitoba building code requirements
• Install furnaces, HRVs, rooftop units, ventilation systems, and related equipment
• Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
• Work in compliance with Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health regulations
• Collaborate with apprentices, contractors, and other trades
• Troubleshoot airflow and equipment issues
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Qualifications
• Red Seal Sheet Metal Journeyperson Certification is required.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC installation is required.
• Strong understanding of airflow, mechanical systems, and Manitoba code
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in Manitoba weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
